2015 Cheltenham Festival Day 4

A huge win from The Package and a spectacular performance by Vautour were the highlights of the day for us. It was our best day in terms of reading the races (our selections arrived not lower than 6th) but only Monetaire earned us place money. Still can’t complain, it was a day both exciting and profitable.

Can’t believe tomorrow is the last day of the 2015 edition of Cheltenham Festival. Almost already looking forward to next year.

2015 Cheltenham Festival Day 3

Today was a good day with two wins of 2/1 (Don Poli) and 5/1 (Dodging Bullets) and two 2nds of 6/1 each in Parlour Games and Any Currency. We had invested a bit extra on Don Poli and the big guy did not disappoint at all.

2015 Cheltenham Festival Day 2

Could have been much better for us in Day 1.   Great performances by Un De Scheaux  and Hurricane Fly made for a very promising start but Annie Power’s fall while cruising for the win cost us big and all turned downhill since that moment. Can’t complain too much though as we have three more days to look forward to. On to Day 2, here is what I have played: (all times GMT):

Champions League Plays for Wednesday

Last night we relied on goals and it worked alright. If Dortmund weren’t fooling around in most part, we would have hit 3/3, but still it was a profitable evening.

Soccer picks for Tuesday night

I just love midweek league football – makes it so much easier for the week to pass by.

I know I’m looking for trouble but if there is a single game that the Reds can win at the moment, it’s against Leicester.

ManUtd -1 @ 2.03 vs. Stoke

Two away games in a row against superior teams has to prove too much for Stoke.

Swansea vs. QPR BTTS @ 1.80

This one has 2-1 written all over it. I hope.

Barnsley vs. Doncaster BTTS @ 1.67

I just hope these two don’t decide to play defense tonight.

NFL and NBA plays for Monday Night

New month – new hopes.

Let’s start with a bang. Here’s what I like tonight from across the Atlantic:

NFL

NY Jets +6.5 @ 1.90 vs. Miami Dolphins  (bet365)

OK, I know many will laugh but this is the chance for the Jets to make the season for their fans a little more bearable: Ruin Dolphins chances for the postseason.

NBA

Miami Heat +5 @ 1.90 at Washington Wizards (PaddyPower)

Wade’s return will boost Heat – believe they can at least keep it close.

Philadelphia 76ers +11.5 @ 1.90 vs. SA Spurs

No doubt Sixers are a bad bad team, but they are showing small signs of improvement and Spurs are on B2B games in the East.
